Welcome to FaMAS

Falcon Mill Artist Studios and Gallery  (FaMAS)  is housed within a Grade II listed cotton spinning mill, which was built in 1903. It provides excellent working spaces for more than forty creatives in purpose-built studios on the second and third floors of the building. Additionally, there is an extensive gallery space where current work is displayed.

Pete Marsh originally set FaMAS up in 2011

"Whilst looking for a studio I was invited to
view premises at Falcon Mill. I moved in and was asked to draw plans for a suite of studios. Initially there were ten studios, and in order to manage them I set up the Community Interest Company, Falcon Art C.I.C. trading as FaMAS (Falcon Mill Artists' Studios). In response to the high demand for creative working spaces, together with the support from the owners of Falcon Mill, studio and gallery facilities have expanded over the years to become what it is today."
